Omega Ramps is proud to have partnered with the City of Clearfield to bring an exciting new chapter to their local skate park. What began as a simple rehabilitation effort quickly evolved into a full-scale expansion of the city’s original park, which had been built in the early 2000s. Through a collaborative process that included city officials, our build partner, and members of the riding community, we set out to create something that felt new, accessible, and built for all.

The original park was primarily bowl-focused, and the city wanted to introduce fresh, street-style elements that would appeal to a wider range of riders. During early site visits and planning meetings, we developed a vision for wrapping the existing structure with new, all-abilities features. One of the most exciting additions is a unique ramp setup—a 3-foot miniramp connected by a spine to a 4-foot miniramp, all sharing a single deck. It’s the only one of its kind in the state. We also designed the street course to offer uninterrupted flow, allowing riders to hit three features in a row without breaking stride.

Community feedback played a big role throughout the design process. When safety concerns led us to propose removing a popular fly-out box, we met with local riders, listened to their concerns, and found a way to revise the layout while preserving the feature they loved.

With designs and engineering approved, we moved into construction with Life Is Good handling excavation and concrete work. Previously underused due to its limited layout, the newly expanded park is now a vibrant and inclusive space for skaters, bikers, and riders of all levels. The Clearfield project is especially close to our hearts—it reflects everything Omega Ramps stands for: expanding access, elevating community spaces, and giving more kids the opportunity to ride.
